Like Dance 86.4 Funky Radio Station, Toy's March is geared primarily at children. A drum simulation game, Toy's March eschews the drum set that Drummania offers and instead presents the player with a single drum and cymbal, much like a toy soldier drummer might have. As one might expect from just two inputs, the difficulty level on Toy's March is much less than most other BEMANI titles.

Toy's March also marked the first new arcade BEMANI game line since 2001's Mambo A-Go-Go, a game that failed to warrant a sequel. A sequel, Toy's March 2, recently was released, though no home releases have been announced.
